About me
I’m Cheryl — an American who fell in love with Italy, married into its traditions, and has called Puglia home for over thirty years. Between Grottaglie and Villa Castelli, I raised four children in a villa where olive trees, ceramics, and the smell of slow‑cooked ragù shape everyday life.
I’ve traveled across Italy and beyond, but it’s the rhythm here that grounds me: morning cappuccinos, seasonal dishes, local wine, and the art of slowing down. This is the heartbeat of my work — whether I’m writing about sensory‑friendly travel or helping a local business find its digital voice.
VeraEdit Consulting: Grottaglie isn’t a very tourist city — not yet. But change is coming. International visitors, digital tools, and AI are reshaping how business works. I help artisans and small businesses adapt by refreshing websites, improving SEO step by step, and telling stories that connect across cultures.. My goal: to make Grottaglie visible to the world without losing its soul.
Puglia Peace Blog: Travel thrills me, but ADHD makes it overwhelming. The unknown sparks curiosity and anxiety. Puglia Peace is my answer: itineraries that strip away the guesswork, describe the sensory details, and let travelers savor Puglia calmly and fully. You don’t need to do everything — you just need to enjoy what you choose.
I believe in:
• Accessibility that makes travel and business welcoming.
• Authenticity rooted in southern traditions.
• Creativity that blends storytelling with technology.
• Connection that turns local rituals into global experiences.
